CGM is an organic corn based product used as a pre-emergent weed control. Specifically it is
effective at preventing Crabgrass, Dandelion and many other invasive seeds from germinating.
Control of germination is obtained from dipeptide proteins that are toxic to root shoots in new seedlings.
CGM is best applied in the Spring or fall, before seeds have an opportunity to germinate.
