Weeds are simply unwanted or invasive plants that are growing in your garden. Weed control in gardens is necessary because weeds reduce uniformity and compete for water, light, space and nutrients. Edging prevents weeds and invasive plants from entering the lawn and prevents from grass spreading into the gardens. A well trimmed edge and cultivated garden prevents runoff and loss of water as well as provides a break to any possible erosion of soil out of the garden and onto the surrounding lawns or patios.

Green Circles Method:
Green Circles well trained staff will selectively identify all desirable and undesirable annuals and perennials in your garden. A uniformed crew will cultivate and remove all annual and perennial weeds. The edges of all gardens will be given a clean cut edge. After two visits through spring (May) when weed growth begins to subside, a quality garden fertilizer package will be suggested to promote the health and vigor of your established plants. Installation of mulch may also be suggested at this time depending on your soil characteristics and the variety of plants in your gardens.
