The easiest and best method of controlling weeds is by complete removal from the site – usually
completed by hand pulling, where labour and cost are not a concern. Complete removal of the root
is important to prevent recurrence of the weed. As well, weeds must be
removed before seeds are produced, intensifying the problem. This method, if done properly, can be completed in one visit.
