Topdressing is a thin layer of organic material which is often mixed with sand or
topsoil and applied across the top of the lawn. Topdressing introduces a material to your soil that
will improve drainage, allow the soil to exchange gases with the atmosphere better, and promote the
development of soil micro flora and micro fauna, which are needed to break down thatch and grass clippings.
Green Circles Method:
Green Circles will weed, dethatch and cut your lawn very short (1cm or less).
We will then spread Gro-Turf Premium Organic Topdress Soil Mixture and a quality starter
fertilizer over the surface of your lawn. The appropriate grass seed blend will be spread and
raked into this soil. This service can be coupled with a heavy
aeration to enhance the penetration
of the topdressing soil mix into the root zone of the lawn and a quality
fertilizer program to keep
the renovated lawn looking its best.
